The cyclo isn’t extinct yet…..

One of my first entries I was ranting of the death of the cyclo. They are not dead but they are fading away. Once one of the main forms of transport around urban towns they are used mostly for carrying stuff – like a ute back home. I’ve seen them manage to carry a stack of matresses, more than one large cupboard, lounge suites, TV’s, boxes of all sizes and the list goes on and on. Cyclos are old and don’t seems to be being upgraded. I was reassured to actually see a cyclo taking an old frail lady and her bags from market most likely to her home. Cyclos seems less part of the community then they used to be and more like a delivery service.
